Nikolaus D. Bayer

Nikolaus D. Bayer is co-founder and joint Managing Director of IRIS Analytics GmbH. In this role, he concentrates on sales, product management, delivery and professional services.

Prior to founding IRIS Analytics in 2007, he served as Business Development Director Security Systems at Germany‘s leading card processor GZS and, when First Data acquired GZS in 2006, at First Data in Germany. There, he was driving fraud prevention related sales and software implementations across Europe, as well as product management.

Also, he supervised the fraud decision making strategies for the company‘s German issuing processing operations.

Nikolaus holds a diploma in computer science from Aachen University of Technology, Germany. At that time he was already focused on fraud prevention: the title of his thesis was „A Comparison of Neural and Fuzzy Technology in the Context of Fraud Detection“.

He speaks German, English, and Spanish, as well as a little French and Italian.

Constantin von Altrock

Constantin von Altrock is joint Managing Director of IRIS Analytics GmbH, and its top data scientist, system architect, and software development manager. Constantin is a pioneering research- based inventor and system architect in the field of payment fraud prevention and payment security. His career spans over 30 years of automated decision making in a range of fields. As a top-level manager of developers and experts, he has led the implementation of 26 large-scale fraud prevention systems targeting a broad gamut of transaction environments. Enterprises operating payment fraud systems designed by him include: T-Mobile, Commerzbank, First Data Corporation, Lloyds Banking Group,

Comdata Corporation, Mastercard France, National Bank of Greece, and ClickandBuy. In total, he has designed fraud prevention systems covering 360 million customer accounts.
Constantin began investigating archi- tectures for real-time decision engines at Hewlett-Packard's Silicon Valley research laboratories in 1984. His education includes M.Sc.E.E. and M.O.R. degrees. He has successfully filed a growing number of patents in the area of fraud prevention, and has published seven books and 33 research papers on real-time decision making.

He speaks German, English, Italian, and a little French.
