IRIS Analytics' Advisory Board has been established to serve as counsel to the company's management on the fundamental direction of our business, and to provide guidance with respect to strategic corporate governance.
Hanns-Michael Hepp
Hanns-Michael Hepp, co-founder of IRIS Analytics GmbH and Managing Director until June 2014, is currently serving as Chairman of the Advisory Board.
Before founding IRIS Analytics in 2007, he held various positions in the German banking industry. In 1984, he joined Germany’s biggest card processor GZS (now part of First Data). Until initiating GZS’s fraud prevention activities in 1992, he directed sales and customer management.
Acting as Senior Vice President of GZS and later on as General Manager of its affiliate IRS, he then set up the processor’s fraud management operations, and led all fraud prevention related projects, including the delivery of IRIS 1.0 in 2000.
Hanns-Michael Hepp has published several scientific papers on fraud prevention and risk control. He served on the MasterCard International Security Committee between 1993 and 1997.
